  • 1941

    Our story starts in the Jordaan at the heart of Amsterdam, where at the young age of 17 Dirk the founding fathers of our franchise, delved into Amsterdam's rich heritage as a global hub for polishing and cutting diamonds.
    By familiarizing himself with the art of cutting and polishing, Dirk slowly managed to build himself a stock allowing him to open up his own jewellery store on muntplein at the center of Amsterdam. Named after the famous Koh-I-Noor diamond which was cut locally in Amsterdam.

    Koh-I-Noor began as a cutting and polishing facility, where respect for the craft formed the foundation of our expertise. Over time, this technical mastery evolved into a distinguished destination for handmade jewellery and loose diamonds, serving clients who value authenticity and refinement.
    At the heart of Koh-I-Noor lies a commitment to preserving the ancient art of jewellery design and craftsmanship. Through perseverance, innovation, and an uncompromising standard of quality.

    In 2020, BBgrillz was founded with the vision of merging the franchise’s generational expertise in jewellery design with the contemporary demand for custom-made and dental jewellery. Built on a foundation of craftsmanship and precision, the brand reflects a natural evolution of heritage into modern expression.
